Evidence of professional development and upkeep of design skills, experience, and training records. Competent with the use of industry-standard CAD packages and signalling design tools for the development of detailed design and/or signalling scheme development. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders as required. Experience with signalling design within the context of multidisciplinary rail projects. Experience in the development of signalling schemes (GRIP 2-4), with extensive knowledge of UK railway standards and design processes. Experience in the development of signalling detailed designs (GRIP 5) for conventional relay-based interlockings and/or modern SSI/CBI interlockings, as well as a strong understanding of UK standards and design processes. Knowledge of document management using electronic document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise).
