Role description: Arcadis provides full flexibility remote and office work environment in conjunction with technical support amongst highly experienced engineering, surveying, environmental and administrative staff to aid in the successful delivery of quality transportation projects to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in fields closely related to transportation and infrastructure sectors, with a specific focus on project management. Of these 7 years, a minimum of 4 years should have been spent in roles such as Task Manager, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager. This role requires a candidate with a proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating projects in the transportation sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of GDOT PDP and schedules, project management principles and best practices. Role accountabilities: Lead and Inspire: Take the lead on project team planning, execution, and delivery of transportation improvement projects from start to end of their lifecycle. Strategic Oversight and Management: Develop and manage project scopes, schedules and budget and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget while exceeding client expectations. Productive Work Ethic: Work on multiple unique assignments concurrently. Lead internal and project meetings to discuss workload, resource utilization and project pursuits. Collaboration and Communication: Work as an individual or through team efforts to interface with consultants, key stakeholders, and clients, to drive project success. Problem Solving: Pro-actively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and project teams, serving as an exemplary representative of Arcadis. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 10+ years of experience, with minimum 4 years in task management, project management roles. Strong technical knowledge in transportation engineering, state and federal regulations, and proficiency in project management tools. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable. Key Attributes Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts. Project Management experience with transportation design, which may include cost estimates, technical reports, construction plans and project displays. Proficiency with Georgia DOT Plan Development Process and P6 schedules Working knowledge of developing and designing federally funded projects involving compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Prior experience in client facing roles, including delivering presentations and effectively managing client expectations.
