We are seeking a Discipline Manager to lead our multi-disciplinary Building Services business unit nationally. This is an exciting career opportunity to lead, shape, develop our mechanical, electrical, fire protection and hydraulics capability so that we can deliver for our clients across our key sectors including Health, Education, Defence, Industrial & Technology, Property and Transport. Reporting to the National Business Leader for Design and Engineering and working in close partnership with our senior technical leaders, this role will be responsible for the leadership, management and supervision of our Places Australia - Buildings Services teams. As a natural networker with established contacts and credibility in the Australian market, you'll use your technical leadership and commercial acumen to grow our brand by winning and delivering projects aligned to our national strategy. Your extensive consulting engineering experience will also enable you to provide solutions and troubleshoot projects so we are delivering exceptional outcomes. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, you'll work closely with the National Business Lead to reassess, develop and deliver on a business strategy that aligns with our company goals and values whilst ensuring it enhances both your reputation and your teams. Role accountabilities: Whilst every day is different, the key accountabilities for this role are: Provide strategic leadership to our Design & Engineering Business, identifying opportunities and risks. Proactively engage with new and existing clients to ensure Arcadis is best placed to deliver on their needs while meeting our own commercial objectives. Deliver technical guidance and solutions to complex problems. Develop your team by providing support and mentoring. Qualifications & Experience: This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established team working on a variety of landmark projects that shape our cities and communities. To be considered for this position it is anticipated you will have: Extensive experience across all aspects of Buildings projects from an engineering perspective. Ideally with commercial developer and healthcare experience and network. Well-developed commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry, a demonstrated ability in sales and business development and entrepreneurship. An established local network and track record of delivering exceptional service and solutions. Relevant tertiary qualifications with post graduate qualifications being highly regarded.
