Role description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Change Control Manager to join the team working on a significant tunnel project from inception through to completion in the New York / New Jersey area. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative tunnel project, leveraging your experience in change control management. Join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of urban infrastructure. Role accountabilities: Provide administrative processing of change orders and associated revisions to Design-Build Contract documents, maintain \u201ccontrol copies,\u201d distribute to those assigned \u201cconformed Design-Build Contract,\u201d and perform audits periodically at the Design-Build Contract Field Management operations to maintain consistency and document control conformity as it relates to Design-Build Contract documents. Coordinate, recommend, and provide contract support for the construction team to ensure prompt processing of change orders as well as ensure contract conformity. Follow the approved Change Order procedures in identifying, analyzing, clarifying, resolving, negotiating, and processing, including the maintaining of change logs that identify pending changes, probable changes, changes in the change order process, and authorized Change Orders. Provide cost and engineering estimating services to review and recommend action regarding Design-Builder change requests, value engineering change proposals, claims, and provisional sum work. Support Sr. Contract Administrator with change orders proposals, change orders, and claims Determine merit, evaluating and estimating level of effort for hours and costs, negotiating with the contractor and writing up Findings of Facts and Records of Negotiation. Prepares independent estimates on change proposals and new directives, and recommends an equitable adjustment per contract specifications and requirements. Supports quantitative risk analysis and cost forecasting activities and prepares rough order of magnitude estimates where required. Qualifications & Experience: 10+ years of experience in change orders for construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, a related field or equivalent work experience. Key Skills and Abilities: Must have experience in design of civil work, including earthwork and bridge design.
