The successful incumbent will be part of a team carrying out radiological surveys in the municipality of Port Hope, Ontario. Job duties include, but are not limited to, exterior gamma surveys, interior gamma surveys, soil management tasks, collection of radiological measurements, and completing radiological scanning of equipment and personnel. This role will require onsite work in the field. The Environmental Field Technician will work within our Global Resilience Business Area. Role accountabilities: Prepare for and carry out survey activities in accordance with the approved project Health and Safety and Technical Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures for the project; Be responsible for maintaining Radiological safety measures as required including zoning, signage, and calibration of equipment; Commitment to attention to detail in all tasks and accurately complete daily paperwork as required; Possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a diverse team environment; Ability to multitask and prioritize and manage time efficiently to complete tasks.
