Het team bestaat uit 11 gedreven marien ecologen en omdat we willen groeien zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Het team Marine and Estuarine Biodiversity houdt zich met veel projecten bezig, allemaal met een link naar zee en kust. Dit betreft niet alleen projecten waarbij we kijken hoe activiteiten op zee kunnen worden uitgevoerd zonder natuurschade, maar ook projecten waarbij we juist een impuls voor mariene biodiversiteit proberen te bewerkstelligen. In de rol van marien ecoloog draag je bij aan de goede uitvoering van deze projecten, bijvoorbeeld door bij te dragen aan de inhoud met jouw marien ecologische kennis of door goed contact met de klant te onderhouden over onze vorderingen. Voorbeelden van projecten waar we momenteel aan werken zijn: het zonder natuurschade aanleggen van de kabels vanaf windpark Nederwiek 3, opties om vleermuizen offshore te beschermen, effecten van zeespiegelstijging op kustverdediging en evalueren MER van de vaargeul van de Eemshaven naar de Noordzee. Jij gaat in teamverband werken aan dergelijke projecten. Het team Marine and Estuarine Biodiversity maakt deel uit van de adviesgroep Natuur & Biodiversiteit. Deze groep bestaat uit ongeveer 45 ecologen die je regelmatig tegenkomt bij projecten of sociale events. Rol verantwoordelijkheden: In de functie van marien ecoloog adviseer je opdrachtgevers en collega's over marien ecologische vraagstukken. Je past actuele ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied toe bij het oppakken van klantvragen. Je zoekt naar de juiste balans tussen de, op het oog, soms tegengestelde economische en natuurbelangen. Je gaat naar klanten om te praten over marien ecologische vraagstukken. Je bent dol op nieuwe dingen leren, want dat ga je in deze functie veel doen! Kwalificaties & Ervaring: Wij vragen van het volgende van jou dat je: -  een academische opleiding hebt op het gebied van mariene ecologie of vergelijkbaar -  minimaal twee jaar werkervaring hebt in een functie waarin mariene biodiversiteit een grote rol speelt. \\- reisvaardig bent. De leden van het team hebben Assen, Arnhem, Amersfoort of Zwolle als standplaats. Je eigen standplaats is vrij te kiezen uit deze vier plaatsen (andere standplaatsen zijn ook bespreekbaar). We werken minstens \u00e9\u00e9nmaal per week vanaf hetzelfde kantoor zodat we elkaar vaak ontmoeten. \\- de Nederlandse en Engelse taal zowel mondeling als schriftelijk uitstekend beheerst.
