We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Surveillance Officer to join our Melbourne office. Reporting directly to the Independent Assurance Representative, Senior Project Engineer, MEI Zone Lead or Construction Manager, this role will be responsible to assist in the resolution of complex technical issues. Interface with delivery partners to achieve efficient and technically sound outcomes. Provide mentoring to the site team, where applicable and ensure compliance with standards, specifications and relevant Government legislation are adhered Role accountabilities: Verifying compliance of electrical works are compliant with the project documents by conducting a risk-based quality surveillance program. HV and LV substation installations and commissioning. Independent Certification of Building Services and commissioning. Verifying construction works are built in accordance to IFC documentation. Verifying the RFIs and NCRs are being compliantly incorporated into the construction works. Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on construction quality and progress Ensuring early identification of potential technical issues on site Resolving complex technical issues on site Ensuring that the latest versions of drawings are being used by delivery partners. Coaching and development of fellow technicians and engineers on site Developing and maintaining professional relationships with delivery partners Promoting a culture of continuous innovation and improvement Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis Ensuring you are familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital.
