AutoCAD and Revit knowledge is important, with the ability to communicate design strategies to a drafting department to create construction documents. You must also have a broad understanding of both plumbing, and fire protection systems and their applications, as well as be familiar with construction concepts and coordination with other trades. Have load calculation software experience (e.g. HAAS). Possess excellent, clear and concise written and oral communication skills. Be familiar with state and local codes inclusive of code review process and response to code official documents. Be familiar with local utility load letter requests and applications. Have functional experience with MS Office applications. Have functional experience with Bluebeam. 12+ years' specialized experience with plumbing and fire protection design & construction specifically for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater facilities. Plumbing, fire protection design knowledge.
