Discipline Leader is a senior-level position responsible for providing leadership and expertise in municipal roads and highways engineering disciplines. The incumbent will oversee and guide a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to municipal roads and highways. This role involves project management, technical expertise, and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve high-quality and efficient outcomes. As the Municipal Discipline Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the this discipline. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and providing technical expertise in municipal engineering. Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement of the practice by prioritizing service delivery and client experience whilst ensuring we have the right team and skillsets to secure new work. Your role will involve independent collaboration with multi-discipline teams, overseeing a diverse range of projects. In addition to your technical expertise and project management, you will take the lead in coordinating business development and client engagement activities, further enhancing our presence in the roads and highways municipal sector. Role accountabilities: Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership to the municipal discipline team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
