Role description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead and oversee the design and implementation of rail infrastructure projects. The Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of design projects, from initial concept through to completion, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Role accountabilities: Lead Design Projects: Manage and coordinate all design activities related to rail infrastructure projects, including track layout, station design, and signaling systems. Project Management: Oversee design projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Innovation and Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest design technologies and industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance rail infrastructure. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in rail design projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of rail design, excellent leadership and project management skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities.
